Week 13 – The Power of Gratitude

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Welcome to Week 13 of my MKMMA journey! We are at the half way point and every week I learn new tools to crush the cement in my life and plant my DMP deeper into my subconscious.

When writing out three daily gratitude’s on index cards was introduced in MKMMA, I was so happy because expressing gratitude has been a part of my daily life for some time. When I received Christ into my heart at nine years old, I can’t say that I understood how having a heart of gratitude would play out in my life, but over the years this power has revealed itself.

When I joined my network marketing company in 2011, one of my millionaire mentors suggested making a daily gratitude list by writing out ten things I was grateful for every day with twenty on Sunday. It was recommended that we form an alliance by getting a partner and email your list to your partner each day. Over the years, I have had different partners and we always made it a habit to gift one another our year of gratitude at the end of each year.

In addition to daily gratitude, it was highly recommended to write an annual gratitude letter dated December 31 for the following year. I always have made it a habit to write this letter on December 31 of the current year for the following year. This has been my habit for five years. My letter often will include key areas I wish to write about like: Health, Businesses, Finances, Faith Walk, My Husband, Serving, Personal Development, Recreation, Family. The point is whatever is important to you. I would read it aloud, share it with others, and read periodically throughout that year.

Just like our MKMMA recipe for success by reading our DMP, having a Positive Mental Attitude, a Plan of Action and our Mastermind Alliance, so it is also true of expressing gratitude for that which has not yet happened in the physical world as a tool to bring it forth.

We know then that Master Key 13:12 comes as no surprise to us who are already leveraging the power of the mind. “12. If then, we find that certain persons seem to possess unusual power, what are we to conclude? First, we may say, it is not so, which is simply an acknowledgment of our lack of information because every honest investigator admits that there are many strange and previously unaccountable phenomena constantly take place. Those, however, who become acquainted with the creative power of thought, will no longer consider them unaccountable.

Furthermore in 13:15 It will be found that the creative power of thought will explain every possible condition or experience, whether physical , mental or spiritual. 13:17 goes on to say, If we think of some form of material wealth we may secure it. By concentrated thought the required conditions will be brought about, and the proper effort put forth, which will result in bringing about the circumstances necessary to realize our desires.

Gratitude opens many doors that could never be opened otherwise.

Week 12 – 3 Step Plan of Thought

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Law of Attraction

Every week we learn a new Master Key and as I read each week’s lesson, it is confirmation for me that all the time, effort and work I am putting in to this will reap the desired results.  For the first time in my life, I have clarity of purpose. I am driving deep into my subconscious my definite major purpose in so many ways that I now can see without seeing, hear without hearing, and so on. It is so deep in my mind that I can recall it at any time.

We know thus far that the world within determines the world without. If you’re dissatisfied with your world without then the work must begin in your world within.

This week we are learning that eternal vigilance is the price of success. There are three steps and each one is absolutely essential. You must first have the knowledge of your power; second, the courage to dare; and third, the faith to do.

With this as a basis you can construct an ideal business, an ideal home, ideal friends, and an ideal environment. You are not restricted as to material or cost. Thought is omnipotent and has the power to draw on the Infinite bank of primary substance for all that it requires.

Infinite resources are therefore at your command. Now is not the time for chaos. You must be clear on your ideal. We use the metaphors of the compass and the magnifying glass. We live by the compass rather than the clock. The how and when is not our concern, but the direction of where we are going is. The magnifying glass represents the focus required to get us to our ideal.

Further study of Master Key 12 says that the Law of Attraction or Love is that thought will correlate with its object and bring forth in the material world the correspondence of the thing thought or produced in the mental world.

I am fascinated by the fact that the more we exercise this law, the more the power increases with use.

Each lesson has a sit or meditation time included. This week I was so drawn in by the sit, that after 15 minutes, I reset my timer and did another 15 minutes. It is during this time that you get in touch with the Omnipotent power of your subconscious mind from which all power is evolved.

Week 11 – Recipe for Success

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

DMP + PMA + POA + MMA = SUCCESS!!

That’s it in a nutshell. You have these four components and you are guaranteed success!

We spent a lot of time working and re-working and for some of us re-working some more our DMP or Definite Major Purpose. This is not something to be rushed because this is the core of your success. You must be authentic in your desire for the personal pivotal needs you choose and your DMP must be chocked full of feelings and emotions. If you’re not crying when you read your DMP or getting super excited about the achievement of your DMP, then chances are you’re not being authentic. One final key and uber important component of your DMP is what are you going to sacrifice for it to come to fruition.

Then we started learning and applying the 7 Day Mental Diet building our Positive Mental Attitude. In the 7 day mental diet, the goal is to go 7 days without a negative thought or spoken word. Try it sometime and let me know how you do? You may agree that 7 seconds may be considered a victory at first. But persistence over time and you will be able to go longer periods of time without a negative word or thought. Hint: give up your opinion on everything and it gets much easier. Congratulations!

Next we added to our recipe the POA or Plan of Action. Every week we add another commitment to move us toward achievement on our smart goals. A smart goal is a goal that supports a personal pivotal need. Your Definite Major Purpose is driven by your two personal pivotal needs. You decide what two you have a burning desire to achieve. They are: Legacy, Liberty, Autonomy, True Health, Recognition for Creative Expression, Helping Others, and Spiritual Growth. Your weekly commitment you add to your index card must be accomplished so make sure it is something you can and will do. The doing is more important.

Lastly is the MMA or Mastermind Alliance. This is where we as a community can come together on different topics ask questions, share, uplift and support one another. Great minds sharing great ideas means everyone wins and grows together. We are all learning, growing and stretching our minds in ways never been done before, so the community of like-minded individuals all working toward letting go of our old mental blueprints and living into our new mental blueprints is beyond words.

Week 10 – The Results are In…The Power of the Mind

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Thank you all for following my blog and maybe even saying a prayer on my behalf. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The results of my biopsy were so favorable that when the doctor read the pathology report, I flung my arms in the air and yelled, “Yay, God!”

The lumps in my neck are referred to as goiters. The first question you may have and we did too is, “what causes goiters”? Now going into this whole scenario my husband had a theory that my body was iodine deficient, which can come from lacking salt in your diet. Hence, my show preparation may have contributed to such a deficiency. As soon as I returned home from my fitness show, I started taking iodine drops daily and continue to do so. We believe we can get rid of the goiters in my body through this regimen. The doctor never really had a clear cut answer to what causes goiters, but indicated it could come from an iodine deficiency. I know my husband was patting himself on the back at the doctor’ statement and rightly he should. Goiters are common in third world countries, but a little more uncommon in our first world society. My doctor wants to check me annually to be sure all remains good in my body. My plan and intention is that next year’s ultra sound will reveal no goiters. Poof, gone.

So, let’s tie this all back to the Master Key Ten. Let’s assume that when I learned of these five goiters in my neck that I started assuming the worst, like they were cancerous in my body. Do you suppose that the outcome of the biopsy would have been the same? Of course not. You see the power of our mind can bring about what we think about. If I had focused on cancer, cancer, cancer, I would be giving you a much different report today.

We must take personal responsibility for our minds and how we choose to think and direct our thinking to serve us and others. We all have a spiritual power within us that allows us to exist on a higher plane. We must first acknowledge this power as infinite power we have available to us, but more importantly we must feed it, nurture it and grow it to help ourselves and others. This is a universal law that exists whether we exercise it or not. “It is not I doeth the works, but the Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the work.”

Can you start to see the power behind what we are learning and applying in all areas of our lives and especially to our Definite Major Purpose and how we are able to make it so.

I want to leave you with the famous quote from Nelson Mandela, which seems most fitting for this post.

Week 9 – Health, Wealth & Love Affirmation

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

A few weeks prior to my official introduction to Master Key #9, I had jumped ahead to this reading for purely personal reasons.

During an annual physical exam, a lump was discovered in my neck. After an Ultra Sound was performed, it turns out one lump was really five lumps. Now I’m a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, so the news may have rocked some, but for me I just took it to God in prayer and said, “your plan is my plan whatever you have in store for me.”

Since July, I have been preparing my 51-year old body for it’s first ever Fitness America pageant. Living into nutrition and exercise disciplines that I’ve never done before in my life. As I write this blog post, I celebrate my completion of this goal and look forward to a future competition in 2016.

Knowing full well that being part of the Master Key Mastermind Alliance, we are learning some very powerful mind exercises and I was compelled to reach out to a friend in the alliance and shared with her what was going on in my personal life. She immediately put me on to Master Key #9 and the Health, Wealth & Love affirmation.

I immediately started reciting this affirmation several times throughout each day. I AM Whole, Perfect, Strong, Powerful, Loving, Harmonious and Happy. This affirmation is the last thing I speak aloud at night and the first thing I speak aloud in the morning.

After returning home from my fitness competition, I had a biopsy. I’m still awaiting the results of the test. However, I have an overwhelming feeling of certainty that all is well.

We have the ability to hold in our mind the condition desired and affirm it as an already existing fact. This indicates the value of a powerful affirmation. By constant repetition, it becomes a part of ourselves. We are actually changing ourselves; are making ourselves what we want to be.

“I AM Whole, Perfect, Strong, Powerful, Loving, Harmonious and Happy.”

Week 8 – Press Release Read & Sit

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

We are just one week away from completing our first trimester in the Master Key Mastermind Alliance. This first trimester is where all the time consuming set up work is required in order to begin the hard mental labor of putting it all into practice. In MKMMA, we like to say “perfect practice prevents poor performance”. The more you faithfully practice the daily exercises, the more you feed your subconscious it’s new mental blueprint and BAM, your subby begins to make it so.

By communicating to your subconscious using the 7 ways we learn, we can be sure we have covered all bases. It’s also like giving your conscious mind a vacation while your subconscious mind is working overtime for your benefit.

This week we are taking the Press Release we wrote in week five and we are doing a read and sit. Picture in your mind that your DMP or Definite Major Purpose is complete. A press release is super exciting to write knowing the idea is that you are being celebrated and you get to choose who interviews you for the announcement.

I get butterflies in my belly from the excitement of just thinking about this. Imagine that your personal pivotal needs along with your smart goals are celebrated for their achievement in your press release. You read your press release aloud and meditate, hence the sit, on seeing the future self as present. This is so powerful and a necessary part of training our subconscious to move us in the direction we wish to go. This is one of my favorite exercises because the visual is so crystal clear and the feelings and emotions that come to the surface during the sit are physical and raw.

In order to cultivate the imagination, it must be exercised. Exercise is necessary to cultivate mental muscle as well as physical muscle. Constructive imagination means mental labor, by some considered to be the hardest kind of labor, but, if so, it yields the greatest returns, for all the great things in life have come to men and women who had the capacity to think, to imagine, and to make their dreams come true. ~ The Master Key System

Week 7 – You Are Going To Be a Star

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Welcome to week 7. This has been the most fun week for me yet! Most people don’t even make it to this point, so for those of us who have persevered through our resistance and give our best not the best we can do…Massive Congratulations!!

The first nine weeks in the Master Keys Mastermind Alliance requires time to setup what we are learning to do in order to “pepper” our subconscious with the desires of the heart. Once the setup is done, then comes the hard mental labor that so few are willing to do, but is so worth it to invest the time and energy in order to manifest and create a new mental blueprint and say bye bye to the old one. This is really exciting stuff that no one ever teaches you how to really do it, until now.

We take our DMP or Definite Major Purpose along with our PPN’s or Personal Pivotal Needs and we start feeding it to our subconscious in many different ways. Actually we are incorporating all of the seven different ways that we learn, which are:

1. Visual (Spatial) – You prefer using pictures, images, color and other visual media to replace words with pictures.
2. Musical (Auditory) – You prefer sound and music to create visualizations.
3. Verbal (Linguistic) – You prefer using words in both speech and writing.
4. Physical (Kinesthetic) – You prefer using your body, hands and sense of touch.
5. Solitary (Intrapersonal) – You prefer to work alone and use self-study.
6. Social (Interpersonal) – You prefer to learn in groups or with other people.
7. Logical (Mathematical) – You prefer using logic, reasoning and systems.

In other words, we leave no stone unturned when it comes to giving our subconscious clarity on what we desire.

In weeks four, five and six, I started experiencing a shift and people and events started happening in my favor. These are exciting times and we are one-third of the way through this journey. Stay the course, give your best, and the future you desire will unfold before you.

Week 6 – The Importance of a Guide

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

This 27-week experience is pretty amazing in itself, but did I mention that each one of us has our own personal guide through the process. Along with having a guide, we have the powerful community of people in the mastermind group all working together in alliance with one another. We can share victories, challenges, ask questions, share our DMP and so on. It’s a pretty cool way to stay connected and really get to know one another all around the world.

Back to my Guide. This past week I really got to experience the importance of my guide and her role in moving me forward with my DMP. Interestingly, I thought I had placed the cherry on top and finished the task of writing and expressing with emotion and sacrifice my DMP. A DMP is Definite Major Purpose or your Chief Aim in Life, sometimes referred to as your WHY.

I was feeling really good about my DMP and the thought and time I invested in it when my Guide, started asking if what I was writing was really what I wanted or was I really attempting to express another personal pivotal need. At first I was feeling defeated, even annoyed, and even a bit of a failure in how many revisions it was taking for me to really nail my DMP. I’m a Red personality type, so patience does not come naturally for me. I truly have to work at it.

But then I took a step back, opened my mind and my heart and suddenly felt grateful for her courage to confront me so I could see what I couldn’t see for myself. She was so determined and committed to assist me to be victorious in this process that she suggested we connect by phone. I appreciate that opportunity to get to know her as a friend, an ally. We covered what needed to be said in lightning fast speed so I could understand how my DMP was still lacking oxygen for the soul. Think about this, when you read your DMP aloud, if you’re not getting absolutely fired up, excited and enthusiastic with what you read, then how is the subconscious supposed to make it so. Remember, “words are the highest form of architecture in civilization…and the passport to success”.

Week 5 – Challenges and Success Define This Week

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Welcome back and thank you for hanging with me on this journey through the Master Key System and Mastermind Alliance.

This week one of our assignments is to avoid giving your opinion, PERIOD. I remember when MarkJ was explaining this assignment last Sunday and he said NO opinions, spoken or unspoken. Even a conjured up opinion trapped in my head would be considered a violation for this assignment. I began the week in absolute failure realizing very quickly that what I thought I would master, having made so much progress with my ego in recent months, turned out to not be the case.

Because I believe in celebrating progress no matter how small, I decided to set small goals for myself like no opinions until lunch time or after 5pm, etcetera. I found that I had to start small and build from there. If I felt myself leaning toward an opinion on something, I remembered MarkJ’s words in my head, “Shut Your Twinkie Hole”. A little abrasive, I know, but effective in getting me to do just that. NO OPINIONS!

I urge you to try this exercise for a week too. The wonderful reward for yourself when you can live in a no opinion state of mind, verbal and non-verbal, allows you to remain neutral on all things. You will begin to experience absolute bliss and peace throughout your day. You also begin to experience a lighter feeling. Let go of your conditioned need to be heard and opinionated about everyone and everything. Let’s be honest here, the only one who cares about your opinion most of the time is you.

When you free your mind of opinions, you gain control of your mind and free space to begin manifesting the desires of your heart.

Let’s talk about the success part of this week. You may remember from last week that my DMP or Definite Major Purpose was still a work in progress, lacking some feelings and sacrifice to really drive home my purpose to my subconscious. What I speak aloud to my subconscious it will deliver to me. Clarity of purpose and feelings attached to the purpose along with what I will sacrifice to achieve my purpose will not only provide clear instruction for my subby to go to work to make it happen, but it will also move me into action no matter what because I am emotionally connected and committed to it.

To say that this week was a breakthrough week for me, feels like an understatement. When I sat down to revisit my DMP and make revisions, I said a prayer that all the words would flow out of my heart that I required to bring my DMP to life both verbally and visually. Everything that came to mind, I put on paper and I was overcome with emotion with my words describing the feeling and importance of each part of my DMP. This was also a heart check for me to be sure that what I thought I wanted, indeed I do. I can now authentically read my DMP aloud with enthusiasm at the same time I can see it done. Past tense.

Week 4 – This is the 100% Week

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

The journey through the Master Keys involves accumulative work. We are stepping into Week 4 already and I must say I am starting to settle into the groove of weekly assignments and their deadlines for completion.

The excitement of this is not knowing what lies ahead yet knowing each week builds upon the next. This is why it’s uber important to give this effort 100%. If you asked each of the Master Mind Alliance members, you would find that most are not giving their best and I am no exception.

My personal challenge this week is completing my final version of my DMP or Definite Major Purpose. I seem to be a bit murky in my description and this must get 100% clear so that my subconscious can deliver to me exactly what I tell it to do. If I am wishy-washy in my instruction, I will receive wishy-washy results. We are learning some super powerful, ninja mind work in this Mastermind Alliance, which is so simple yet many neglect.

In case you’re not aware of this, you can use your conscious mind to speak to your subconscious mind exactly what you want it to do and it will. The problem with most of us is that we have a tendency to feed our subconscious with exactly the opposite of what we desire. We speak lack, limiting and self-defeating thoughts and we do this unconsciously throughout our day. Don’t feel bad this is most of society. If you continue to follow my Master Key Mastermind Alliance weekly posts, you will begin to see the possibilities for yourself and the change you can effect in your own life.

The first step is to gain the awareness of what you may be feeding your subconscious or “subby” as we like to say and creating a shift toward your desired result. We start with simple chores and build from there.

Admittedly, I have been plagued with procrastination a time or three hundred, yet in just four weeks, I am eliminating procrastination and acting on my chore card assignments. Whoa!

This is no time to give 70, 80 or even 90% effort because what you give is what you get. This is your 100% week.
