The 2016/17 class of MKMMA is officially underway.  Having been a scholarship recipient of the 2015/16 class which finished in the spring of this year, I’m thrilled and excited for the newcomers to this course.   My personal experience from completing this course was so profound that I found myself wanting to stay connected.

I think it’s a natural response to want to give back when you experience such a noticeable shift in your life.  At least it was for me.  How would one give back after the course ended?  I investigated the possibility of becoming one of the certified guides.  You see one of the many things which make this course so special is that there is a 1:1 student to guide relationship.  This is unheard of in the world of personal improvement and there is nothing else like it.

My guide was amazing and I couldn’t imagine this experience without her.  The role of a guide is not to rescue you when you feel the need to be rescued.  Rather it is the role of a guide to exercise no influence because the best influence is no influence.  Our goal is to develop self-directed thinkers and abolish the notion of the guru following.  You are your own guru.

After reviewing what was required of me in becoming a certified guide and talking with my guide, Lori Enrico, I decided to step into those BIG shoes and take on the responsibility they symbolize.  The balance of my spring and summer months leading up to the launch of the new class was filled with trainings and homework simulating an actual launch.

Trust me, there were moments where I questioned if I had made the correct decision and was I capable of guiding others through this course.  I acknowledged all those thoughts as my resistance and forged ahead with enthusiasm in pursuit of my calling to be a certified guide in the Master Key Experience.

Congratulations to all the 2016/17 scholarship recipients who said YES to the Master Key Mastermind Alliance.  You are in for a life-changing experience over the next 26 weeks!
