There is something really special about reaching week 15 in the Master Key Experience journey. Maybe it has something to do with your commitment to yourself to stay out of your resistance in pursuit of your hero’s journey. Maybe it’s because you have completed 14 weeks of intentional meditation at this point. Whatever the rationale when I reach week 15 and the assignment is meditating on Insight, it just flows wildly.
I have been raised knowing that prayer time is speaking to God and meditation time is listening to God. I’m not even certain that in my family we called it “meditation”. My recollection is we were told as kids to be quiet and listen and we will hear God speak to us.
This week I feel like this focused meditation time has increased my productivity as priorities were established during my daily Sit. Even more special for me is that I executed on these priorities. Yes!
“Today I begin a new life. And I make a solemn oath to myself that nothing retards my new life’s growth.” (Og Scroll 1)
“Nor I allow yesterday’s success to lull me into today’s complacency, for this is the great foundation of failure.” (Og Scroll 3)
MarkJ refers to 15:26 as the “tipping point”. These are self-evident facts, but the all-important truth that a thought containing principle is vital and therefore contains life and consequently takes root, and eventually but surely and certainly displaces the negative thoughts, which by their very nature can contain no vitality, is one which seems to have been overlooked.
15:30 For this reason Insight must be exercised so that the thought which we entertain contains no mental, moral or physical germ which we do not wish objectified in our lives. (i.e. Sacrifice expressed in positive words).
Franklin Makeover
This week’s assignment for MKMMA members is the Franklin Makeover created by none other than Benjamin Franklin.
Using the list of Virtues provided, you list them in order of what you require the most improvement in first down to the least area of improvement needed with the #2 spot on the list reserved for Kindness Week.
So #1 on my list is Self-Control. I require exercising more self-control in certain areas of my life so I’m focusing on self-control for the first week. So by focusing on self-control for a week, I will be able to identify, magnify and multiply my awareness and therefore effect change.
During week #2, which is Kindness Week, the members including guides will be posting acts of kindness either given or received into our Kindness Mastermind. Our goal as a group is to reach 4,000 acts of kindness so that MarkJ will then give out 300 hugs to ready, willing and able huggers. Pretty Cool!
This is the Law of Growth in action…”whatever I think about grows and what I forget atrophies without exception”.
Here is the balance of my Virtue list:
#3 – Specialized Knowledge
#4 – Well-Organized
#5 – Discipline
#6 – Persistence
#7 – Courage
#8 – Taking Initiative
#9 – Pleasing Personality
#10 – Imagination
#11 – Enthusiasm
#12 – Decisiveness
#13 – See God in Others – Our members focus on seeing God in others for the final week
Peace, Love and Harmony to all.
